Last week in New York City, ESAI joined two powerful conversations about how AI is reshaping education and modern careers.
AI in Education 3.0
At the AI in Education Symposium, hosted by BetaWorks and Mesh Ed, our team connected with students, educators, and EdTech professionals from around the country. The energy in the room was electric and the feedback we received was both authentic and encouraging.
Our founder Julia Dixon gave a live demo of ESAI’s Story Strategist, showing how the tool helps students refine their college essays and highlight their unique voices. During the session, student Marcella shared how Story Strategist helped her
“capture the story I want to tell college admissions.”
Other students on a panel about AI and the admissions process spoke about how ESAI made essay writing less intimidating and more personal. One student shared,
“It gave me feedback that showed exactly where I could improve and where I could include my voice,”
and another said,
“My college counselor is usually really busy, so having an AI that helps me understand prompts and build my story has been a huge help,”
To close out the event, Julia offered free access codes to students in attendance: a charitable reminder that high-quality guidance should be accessible to everyone.
Later in the week, Julia joined a panel at Deutsche Bank called “The Calculus of Courage: Mastering Risk in Modern Careers.” as part of their Rising Stars Panel. The all-women panel discussion centered on taking smart risks and defining career success with intention. Julia spoke about her own leap from corporate life to founding ESAI, and how courage and balance go hand in hand when building something new.
